Grilled Cheese and Wine Pairing
This class will be nothing short of a cheese extravaganza. In this National Grilled Cheese Month celebratory class, we'll have grilled cheese, a cheese tasting plate, and great wines to go with them. But for all the fun this class will be, it's also seriously educational. We'll taste new cheeses, learn the secrets to making great grilled cheese sandwiches, and weave in a few cheese and wine pairing lessons along the way. Can you say f-u-n?

Join me for extreme cheesiness at this true "culinary classic" (just as the name says) . On Saturday, I will be escorting attendees to each of the cheesemaker stands at the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmers' Market, where they will taste cheeses and hear the cheesemaker stories. Then, at Sunday's Grand Tasting, I'll be cooking up the messiest, best cheese-and-chocolate grilled cheese sandwich you'll ever have. Come to beautiful Cavallo Point in Sausalito for a weekend or just a day of incredible tastes, edible and drinkable, both.

Cheese Geek Week
I know of no place in the entire United States that's as special as Blackberry Farm. A grandiose statement, I know, but for me it's true. Located in the Great Smoky Mountains, this incredible property has and does it all. And so it is that I am honored to be returning to lead "Cheese Geek Week." Together with Blackberry Farm's uber-talented cheesemaker, Chris Osborne, we will be deep-diving into Cheese 101, a hands-on grilled cheese competition, cheese and wine pairing, farm tours - the ultimate cheese extravaganza. The cheeseiness will be punctuated by extraordinary meals at Blackberry's renowned restaurants, The Barn and Dogwood, and in between maybe a hike, or a little spa time, or maybe nothing at all. Just being amidst such beauty is pretty much enough.
